Alfie Boe's Storytelller, I haven't listened to it all yet but it's already becoming one of my favourite Alfie albums for some time. Marian do you have it yet? Also Marian I got Julian Ovenden's cd in the HMV sale for £3! Hope that didn't make you feel sick?

I have Storyteller Karl, but I haven't listened to it yet. I forget what I paid for Julian Ovenden's CD but I don't think it was too much.

I am really annoyed at myself tonight. Quite a while ago I bought the 4cd special box set of Dusty Springfield "A Girl Called Dusty", and I had never opened it. However, I decided to open it tonight, while I was unwrapping the cellophane cover I thought to myself, it is a shame to open it. I wish I hadn't, whilst opening it I had also got hold of the front cover sleeve as well as the cellophane and ripped half of it off.
I did however enjoy a selection of the songs, but it spoiled it a bit. I will have to be more careful in future.

I have a feeling John got the title wrong do you mean The Legend Of Dusty John in the cube shaped box?

Sorry Karl, it is my mistake, it is "Simply Dusty", the 4 cd set in a large box and the book inside. I must have been so annoyed I wrote the wrong title down in temper.  I got that at a bargain price of just £10.00, must be about a year ago and had never opened it until last night.

John I amazed that you managed to damage the front sleeve as it's laminated, you really must stop working out with weights or eating Spinach - you don't know your own strength you brute!!!!

The cover on mine isn't laminated Karl, it is just like a glossy paper, and I just must have got hold of it with the plastic wrapping as I tore it off. I must have thought it was Christmas come early, excitedly tearing off the wrapping paper off my presents  I will have to get the cellotape out later. :)

...............but I did open a new CD tonight. I received the 2 on 1 CD release Here's Helen/Green Eyes by Helen O'Connell yesterday from Amazon :) it cost quite a bit, but after watching the DVD you sent me John, I had to buy a CD or two by her. Helen is a good looking woman and I love you way she sings Tangerine :)
