:) Just this tea time, my mum and dad were talking to me about the 'good old days' when they were younger - they definately feel things have changed, but not for the better!

The Adventures of Robin Hood is my dads favourite film, Robert.

We had my Mum and Dad down at the weekend and we put on 'The Man who knew to much' to keep them amused, and then the original of Alfie, which my Mum hadn't seen for years. She kept us amused chatting through both of them with her knowledge of most of the actors and actresses names and comments like 'ooh - he used to be in Z cars - or was it Softly,Softly'. Dad was in the other room doing his crossword with the occasional request for help. Bless em

John - I know that film 'And father came too' - Stanley Baxter is trying to build an idyllic home for him and his wife with all mod-cons but the father just wants them to live at home with him - or something like that. I seem to remember that everything goes wrong on the 'modern-home' with the wiring and plumbing and so they all end up living with JRJ - or something like that.

Watched "Holiday Camp" last night, an oldie from 1947 with Jack Warner and Kathleen Harrison. I think this film was a type of spin off from a tv series called "The Huggetts" from that period, a little before my time.

Well, I thought she did---so that was why I was surprised that John had not mentioned her.

No, she wasn't in this one Marian, I thought she was which was one of the reasons I bought it. It was o.k. and funny in parts, but it just didn't seem to have much of a storyline, I think I fell asleep through part of it as well, which I suppose didn't help.

Watched "The Baker" last night, a 2007 British comedy about a hit man who changes his ways and becomes a baker in a welsh village. It was really funny, I am not usually too keen on post 1980 comedies but this was good.

Watched another great film last night, "Butterfly on a wheel" with Pierce Brosnan, it had a good twist at the end.
