Hi Robert-- an interesting question :) let's see- yep listen to radio 2 most of the day.Regards CD's we have a large collection and selection as you all have on here, but it isn't very often at home that we sit down and listen to ''a whole one'' unless on a car journey. I am a great one for flicking about for my favourite tracks. If we have friends around it is usually some of the Dreamboats and Petticoats CD'S (a child of the pre Beatles rock n' roll music)
Mainly Matt, several Matt Ford,Sinatra, lot's of big bands as Glenn Miller and Syd Lawrence just everything really. Our latest purchases were Seal and Bradley Walsh(theirs a mixture)
If we hear a track we like on the radio we think oh yes .It might be Johnny Mathis,Neil Sedaka,(love him)Doris Day, Abba,Nat King Cole anything really then we will get the appropriate CD out and play it but we rarely sit down and choose a CD to listen to.The only exception , and our number one in the car is,you don't need to ask,our Matt .He can clear all your troubles away xx

Yes is was the Seal CD Standards Karl. Saw him singing on I think Strictly ,liked the tracks and was interested to hear what sort of job he made of those classic titles.Nicely done with great arrangements and Orchestra. We haven't seen him in concert or heard anything else by him.

Going back to this subject, Don Black is the only programme I listen to now on radio2...............Sunday used to be great listening on radio2 ............from teatime there was the lovely Ed Stewart show.........then at 9.0 was Russell Davies' very interesting programme on anything to do with music going back many years, it was such a great programme to listen to, so why did the Beeb decide to stop it  .................then David Jacobs was on till midnight :) .................................so Don Black's show is the only radio 2 programme I listen to at all now..................I cannot stand Moira Stuart's show
