Mike & Sandra - Unfortunately Matt did not record "Let Me Try Again" we took it from the audio we have of a Matt concert at New Brighton on the 2nd November 1980. Quite a reasonable quality considering how it was recorded. It is also one of our favourite songs too.

Did Matt sing any others rare goodies at that concert?

Hi Mike, the songs are mainly the standard ones "I Write the Songs" with a medley and "You Light Up My Life" "Beautiful Noise" and "Hava Nagila" which is very different to the one recorded on the album and is very entertaining. Great atmosphere and banter with the audience.
The songs on the other concerts (1982) both have "One Voice" one of which is with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra.
Matt was in good voice as always which quite rightly earned him his titles The Man with the Golden Voice & The Singers Singer.
Do you visit a website called johnbarry.org/mattmonro which has a dedicated following of fans?
