Hi Maureen and Harry …………..And You Smiled reached #28 in the charts in 1973 but was in my opinion not one of Matts greatest recordings...…..the Van Der Valk theme with words sung by Matt ……………….again I love the song My Love and Devotion but once again it was only a minor hit for Matt peaking at just #29 ……………..so maybe that's why they were not included on the programme...…………….Matt recorded so many great songs that never ever touched the charts ……………...including these iconic songs.... On Days Like These ………...Somewhere...………Before You Go...………...Beyond the Hill...…...Where In the World ………..Pretty Polly ………... If I Never Sing Another Song and many many more great recordings ……………….so there were so many songs to choose from, one or two or more would miss out ……………..

It's great as an instrumental but it doesn't work so well as a vocal. I still have the Eye Level single.

Thanks for the feedback Robert. We agree there are so many great songs to choose from that it would be difficult to know which ones to choose. ☺
