Pleased that you have progressed to disc 2 of The Rare Monro, Robert. I just finished listening to this week's Alan Titchmarsh Melodies For You. The highlight was I Have A Song To Sing from G & S's The Yeoman Of The Guard. Beautiful. This week he played many pieces and composers I've never heard of. That's great, as I like to learn new music.

Next is the David Jacobs Collection to hear Frances Langford.

Jeff, I made a mistake in my previous post. I should have put "disc 1". I have only played disc 2 twice. I will eventually get into it, but I cannot stop playing disc 1 at the moment, with so many glorious songs performed superbly by Matt - Where In the World is in my top 6 Matt tracks, which are all ballads 8) 8)

A nice duet with Frances Langford Robert. Tony Martin is 94.
Married Cyd Charisse in 1948. They have a son Tony born in 1950.

She was a fantastic dancer, there were so many around at that time, but those movies are unbeatable aren't they Robert.
We have quite a few but there are One or Two that you have mentioned recently that we will get. We do badly need a trip to HMV. We have a list of must gets at the moment.

Hi Lena and Harry

I hope Dame Shirley Bassey's new CD "Get The Party Started" is on your list of must gets!

Shirley is definitely on our list Terence.
Hope she takes her wellies to Glastonbury.
The security for entrance there this year is quite amazing. We understand that they all are having to send photographs before the event
Many won't look quite the same after the mud bath.

Yep - the rain is rolling for Glastonbury - as per ususal! I'm really looking forward to Shirleys new album too Lena & Harry - fancy you spotting her before she was famous! You must have been very young at the time!

Ahh - the relaxing tones of Eddie Calvert. Not got music on at the moment, but had a some Eydie Gormet on the way home - belting out 'Johnny One Note'
Michael

Here I go again, I hear those trumpets blow again.......
