Wow! You're listening to Disc 2 more than me now, Robert! :!: When I open the CD, I see Disc 1 first and love those songs so much that I can't resist playing it. But I must be careful not to wear them out. It is just great to listen to whilst driving. I almost have all the track numbers memorised and know the sequence and can sing the first pitch from the end of one song to the next!

Recently I've been listening to a couple CD compilations of Canadian pop and rock music from the 1970s. Canada produced great music during that period. I drove to a wedding in Pennsylvania last weekend and my co-worker and friend (the groom) is half Canadian and born in 1977, so I wanted to listen to appropriate music! :)

Listening to the best of Neil Sedaka. "Laughter in the rain" seems very appropriate considering the weather we have in the UK at the moment!

I think you need some "Laughter in the rain" up there Robert--they mentioned on tv [teletext] that Hull was still suffering badly with the flooding, and many people homeless. Sounds like a nightmare!

By the way, do you like the duet with his daughter Dara of that song-I have 2 different versions of them singing together--although I have a feeling that I have mentioned it elsewhere.

I can't say I have heard the duet between Neil and his daughter, Marian. Is that version as good as the original :?: as the original was brilliant 8)
