Hi Everyone,

At the moment I am listening to a nice Andy Williams love songs compilation which I picked up at our local HMV store for a bargain of £4.99!

Andy sings a nice version of "we've only just begun" and "seasons in the sun." I can't believe that it was in the sale as it is so GOOD.

Best,

Hilary :D

At the moment: Gene Pitney- Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart:The collection.Good cd.

Hilary: sounds like the cd 'Andy Williams: The love songs'. Nice cd. It's always been a low price cd as part of the Sony Music'extra value' range. Some great tracks on there though (excellent versions of Cant help falling in love and Where do I begin).

Hi, at the moment I am listening to the EMI 6 box set of Easy Listening songs.

CD 5 contains Matt singing the classic Yestersday.

CD 6 has Matts offering of Louis Armstrongs What A Wonderful World.

The set is quite good value for money, with most of the tracks recommended.

My tears will fall now that your gone :(

at the moment its a now-very rare cd of django rheinhardt, backed by fud candeux and his orchestra, recorded in brussels in 1942 during the occupation, and under the supervision of the german authorities. one recording of Nuages is probably my favourite piece of music if all time. ^^
dont look for it in the shops, it was a cd in the compact jazz series, and was deleted many years ago.

Well Thanks To The Generosity Of Marian (Thank You So Much Marian)

I'm finally listening to the Marks & Spencer Compilation "His Finest"

"More" is simply a masterpiece of phrasing and breath control to be compared with the very very best, and a wonderful orchestral arrangement with some superbly lavish strings. I have to admit to some tears upon hearing this complete solo version for the very first time.

Marty, yes Matt's rendition of "More" is a knock out and the superb orchestration is without any doubt the best version ever.
We are listening to Robert Goulet singing "If Ever I Would Leave You " from Lerner & Lowes' Camelot. :) :?:
