Thanks for your wishes, Marian & John.
It was a very moving service this morning, so sad.

It has been a lovely day here today, I even sat outside this morning with a cup of tea for half an hour. It was quite warm for mid November.

It is very difficult keeping track of the weather these days---you never know what you are going to wake up to!!

So the sunshine today was a lovely surprise !

I'm wishing for better weather again at the moment, specifically for December 4 and 6.
Sunday was pretty dire here, rain for most of the day and near monsoon downpours in the evening. Today has been drier but the wind is biting cold and we've had some rain. If only the wind would blow in the right direction to get rid of all the leaves from my driveway (I don't have any trees, they're other peoples' leaves)

Thanks for the great photos-I especially loved the ones of New York-I had 2 brilliant holidays there--this was when the Twin Towers were still standing, and I have a photo of me right on top!!

We have got off pretty lightly with the weather the past couple of days, it isn't as cold as it was and it is nice and sunny this morning.

Your warm weather made news on American radio this weekend. Just how warm is it in Britain?

Well it was almost 80 in Edinburgh an di read it was hotter here than Mexico, however we are paying the price now as it's changing dramatically with snow predicted on the mountains by the weekend.

God only know what I will land back to in November after my trip, I shudder to think!!!!!

It was almost 30 degrees here on Sunday--the hottest October day on record.

Driving home from Fife this afternoon it got so dark then torrential rain which the wipers could hardly cope with, had to put the heater on to stop the windows from fogging up and that did the trick, I could see again!!!! :)

It has been much cooler and cloudier today--but not cold .
