Record Broken

The record for the number of "users" (members and guests) was broken tonight at 11.38 pm, when 15 "users" were on the MM message board. May I say that I was NOT one of them I didn't log in until after midnight I could have made the total even higher if I had logged on earlier (shame about that).

I noticed 11 on board Robert at around 11.40p.m and was hoping for more members to join just Marian and myself who were on then, but then suddenly the 9 "guests" disappeared. I did notice the record number go up to 15 though.

I also spotted the record number--but 13 out of 15 were logged on as guests.

I guess those guests are people who have just bought "From Matt Monro With Love". I noticed that there have been 42 new members since the 3rd of February, but none of them have posted yet. I hope they realise the "old-timers" welcome the new members and we hope they post their reviews of Matt Monro's latest release and join in the many lively discussions!

I think you'll find Paul that the majority, if not all, of the new "members" are "unwelcome guests" who have not yet been removed from the memberlist.

I have just spotted that all those that "joined" after 18th January have now vanished!! I think the last time I looked the membership was over 240--now it is back down to 210. Which is good, as at least we now know that they have all been checked .

Well done Michele and co-you are doing a great job, keeping our forum a nice place.

Yes probably all those "new members" were bogus members, so we don't want to hear from them at all. I also think the reason for all those "guests" appearing on the message board on Feb 7th was because of the 22nd anniversary of Matts passing, which was bound to raise awareness and added interest in our Matt
