Paul MacCartney's music to be sold in Starbucks

Post by Catherine M » Tue Mar 13, 2007 11:16 pm

Having just read that Starbucks has agreed to sell CD's and play
Paul's music in Starbucks - now you can have Macca with your Mocha

Maybe we should have Monro with your Macdonalds or any other
suggestions

"Starbucks" are reportedly interested in starting their own record label, and they want Sir Paul to start the ball rolling, so to speak, with guest appearances for publicity  :!:

When I'm in the UK, I don't even look in the direction of a Starbucks. They don't belong there and their coffee is burnt and overpriced. I prefer Pret A Manger.

Paul

I agree about Starbucks. My preference is for Caffe Nero, which has nice decor and seating and a pleasing general "ambience". Do they have them in America, I wonder?

I love Caffe Nero too--my friend and I have lunch in there every Thursday when we go shopping--miles better than Starbucks , which is actually attached to Sainsburys, so in reality is much handier.

Yep - I avoid Starbucks too - and now more so that Pauls music may be played in there!!
