Oh dear  so disappointed. Peter's concert started late because the band hadn't turned up. The General Manager of the theatre then explained that the band were stuck on the M5 which had been closed due to flooding and they had all the music with them. However, Peter had agreed to come on and sing a couple of songs accompanying himself on the piano. His sang "You Don't Know Me" and "Japanese Boy" and then his suppprt act, avery good Welsh singer came on for 45 minutes. I could see from when Peter started to ring that here was a geat talent in the making and we both look forward to seeing him soon. As a gesture the theatre management are refunding everybody their ticket money.

Hi Edgar, that was disappointing, we are so sorry about the show, but obviously a disappointment for Peter Grant too. He wanted to perform, We knew that there was flooding around Newbury, but didn't realise it was that far on to the M5, but at least ticket money will be refunded. :!: :!:
