Radio Essex
Hi folks
I have reasons to believe that young Matt will be on Eric Hall's Radio Essex programme, which is between 3pm and 6pm this afternoon.
To be absolutely sure I have rung Radio Essex, they are not 100% sure, but will ring me back when Eric Hall comes into the studio.
See you all Tuesday week, if you can't recognise me I am the good looking one ( I wish) Len

Thanks Len and Freda. We listen every Sunday to Eric's programme.
He did some great stuff last week for the 30th Anniversary of Marc Bolans death.
Marc Bolan was just one of the many stars and celebrities in music that Eric promoted.
Will be great to hear Matt Jnr on the show.
See you both on the big day

Just managed to tune into Eric Hall, just in time to catch Matt singing "Time after Time"---I know I've heard it loads of times-and I have always loved it-one of my very favourite songs-but just coming on out of the blue like that---it was just beautiful.
I shall try and listen in on the whole programme when I have more time.

This is a real coincidence. Today has been quite a sad day for me, so I was not feeling so good, when I took the dogs out this evening. I always take my ipod shuffle with me, which just takes a random selection of about 300 songs, from all the songs on my Itunes [about 2500 at present].
So I never know what is on there, or coming next as it has no screen.
I usually take the same walk, and at one part, I pass through a gate, which I call "George's gate", as I always stop there , for about 5 minutes to think about George--I also remember Patrick who we lost just 2 months ago, plus all my other relations and friends who are no longer here--and this evening I also thought about 3 friends who are all seriously ill in hospital. I do this almost every day, and always turn the music off, till I am ready to start walking again.
I had just started walking again, and the first tune to come on was Matt singing--"Time after time"--lovely, lovely song.

Sorry you have been feeling sad Marian, and places are so often reminders of memories, but more than anything it's songs, and as Harry Secombe would sing .......

. Music Helps The World Along.
.While The Orchestra Is Playing
.My Heart Is Singing A Song Of Love Dear.
