OCTOBER NEWS
Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Just finished reading the whole news page and EVERY photo too
...............phew..................but I enjoyed it immensely
...............brilliant video of the event too
...................I wondered why Gerrard Kenny was singing My Funny Valentine but realised it was his choice of songs at the end.
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On"
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On"
Re: OCTOBER NEWS
My Funny Valentine was the song that Matt always sang to Mickie. It was her favourite.
I think Gerard mentioned that he would always sing it for Mickie when Mickie and Michele came to see him at Pizza on the Park.

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
If time allowed we could have listened to Gerard Kenny for another hour or more. Brilliant !!!
Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Gerard's open, friendly nature at the launch party was like talking to a mate about music and film, and being on the same wavelengh about the subjects!! Lovely guy!!

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Totally agree about Gerard Kenny. Lovely guy, great pianist. I've become a fan.
Re: OCTOBER NEWS
I have always liked Gerard from way back-it was so nice to have a chat with him--I found out that he lives fairly close to where I live.-

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
I haven't had a chance to read the October news or look at the slide show from Fans Reunited/Paperback Launch. Since this is the last day of October, I hope that you can save these things somewhere, Richard. Thank you.

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
October 2012 and September another busy month for Michele.
A driver who didn't know who he was dealing with
2 successful cruises selling out of CD's.
A lovely tribute from a new 'fan'
.Some great reviews of 'The Rarer' from Joe Marchese
plus some lovely pics on Facebook.
All managing to outweigh the unpleasant bits I hope.

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Thanks Michele, Enjoyed reading the latest October news and so pleased to know that you have enjoyed the cruises and your talks and contacts on board went down so well.
Shame about the prang with your car, but there is a lot of this kind of thing going on out there on the roads where people are deliberately causing a shunt to make false claims.
Nice video of Matt's "Portrait " so well done Alistair and let's hear from you on the web-site.
Some good reviews followed, well done to Joe Marchese

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Oh but Lena you haven't heard the continuing saga, not only did the man in question submit photos with more damage than what was caused but he has also submitted a personal injury claim.... for whiplash. If anyone knows what a Pia Picanto is will know it is a small lightweight car and I am supposed to have hit his people carrier with enough force to cause whiplash, if that were the case I would have had no bumper left. I have actually proved that certain amounts of the damage wasn't caused at the scene of my incident. he has been caught in a fraudulent statement YET THEY ARE STILL WILLING TO PAY OUT HIS CLAIM BECAUSE HE IS ALSO AN AVIVA CUSTOMER.
Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Unfortunately Michele there are always cheating indivduals who will distort the truth on occasions like this, the shame is that they get away with it!

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Yes, well this guy has proved to be a very good liar and for Aviva to be paying out his claim one can only ask why. So sorry you've come up against this toe-rag Michele but with luck he'll get his comeuppance even though luck is well on his side in this case.

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
We enjoyed reading this month's Newsletter especially good to hear that you enjoyed your Cruises and that your Presentations Michele were so successful.
Sorry to read about the prang with your car and that horrible man who is obviously milking it for all his worth. Shame on him!

Re: OCTOBER NEWS
Michele I know how you feel as the same thing happened to me some years ago, driving into a shopping mall I stopped as I hadn't a clue if this driver was parking or reversing out as she was in the middle of the road - I stopped to see what her intentions were and she then proceeded to reverse into the path of my car despite me hooting the horn twice she kept on coming. I could not even reverse as by this time another car was behind me.
I have never met a bigger liar or arrogant person than her, she denied all blame and took me to court and she won despite the damage to both cars being minimal, I had the tiniest mark on my bumper.
She was a paramedic, I always thought they were decent people until I met her!
