Harvey's reply

Post by Michele Monro » Wed Dec 31, 2008 4:21 pm

Thank you all for rallying round in indignation at Harvey's reluctance to use dad's version of 'This is the Life'. I have now received a reply which proves that they do listen

Hi Michele,
Thank you for your e mail ( and those of  other fan’s of your dads fantastic music)

We at Harveys love the original recording  of “ This is the Life” & selected his song from hundreds of others. As I am sure you must know we have used this track for some time now with great success. However we felt that for the Christmas period we needed a change and a more contemporary feel to the music.

We will as a matter of course reconsider our music for our next round of TV advertisements. You may be interested to know we receive a considerable number of calls from the public asking who the  brilliant recording artist is, so we may well be adding new members to his fan club!!

Thank you once again for contacting us & I look forward to posting a reply  on Matt’s forum for all his fans
Kind Regards
Alan

Happy New Year to everyone and we are looking forward to chatting on the forum throughout 2009.

We were pleased to see that Michele's campaign at Harveys has had some effect and hope that when they choose the music for their new advert, they will choose Matt again. It's obvious from their reply that they rate Matt very highly and it was good to see that they have had requests from the public regarding Matt so we may have a few more members soon!

Cheers!
