December's Ken Dodd Competition

Hi Michelle -

Thank you so much for the Ken Dodd cd's which have arrived safe & sound. It was a super surprise, and after listening to them I must say how tickled I am missus!

Ken is one of my favourite comedians – and in my opinion this countries “last” true clown. He also has a beautiful singing voice, and at the end of his live act (usually around 2 in the morning!) you are guaranteed to go home with aching sides from laughter!

Well done Glenn, we agree, Ken Dodd is surely the funniest stand- up comedian in the uk.
We can watch his Video's over and over again and still roll up laughing.
His stamina on stage is unbelievable. It's well know that one night after performing for over four hours, the theatre caretaker threw him the keys on stage and reminded him to lock up when he leaves. and that was for charity.

I agree with all the above comments about Ken Dodd. He's a wonderful entertainer. He will even stand outside a draughty stage door for a couple of hours after his marathon shows and see everyone waiting for autographs, or just to say hello, individually. A true professional.
I too was thrilled with my cds and couldn't believe how many beautiful songs he recorded.
