You can listen to "Born Free" or "Libre" on youtube at

www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfsgfGM_kYM (the video is a bit rude though).
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I just checked out the video of "Born Free" on Youtube-----just totally weird, I thought. I just did not see the point of it.

I totally agree with you but if you click on Matt's photo titled "Born Free" you see the clip from the Australian DVD

how's the sound?

How's the sound? Many of the releases in this series are remastered from vinyl. Are there any pops and ticks?

Sounds great to me. EMI digitally remastered "En Espana" whereas our own Richard Moore remastered "Grandes Exitos En Espanol". There is information on Richard's website about it including the fact about Algien Canto being released in Real Stereo for the first time.
Richard has also written about it on this forum.

I SEE ON THE CD LABEL UNDER THE "CAPITOL" LOGO IT SAYS MONO/STEREO.
WHO KNOWS WHICH SONGS ARE MONO AND WHICH ONES ARE STEREO.
RICHARD?

There are no Mono tracks on the disc - although at least one is Mock Stereo - Southern Star I think off the top of my head - but I didn't re-master those tracks.

The Grand Exitos album is from vinyl, but pristine unplayed vinyl. EMI UK could not find the tapes! It looks like the mix downs were all sent to Argentina - I aim to find out eventually! All of these tracks are stereo. EMI consider a couple to be "Mock" stereo in the sense that the backing tracks used were put into mock stereo in 1968 and a new vocal put over the top (Walk Away is one of these) But this is how it was recorded and doesn't exist in any other form. As it is unlikely that the multi-tracks for Walk Away still exist it is unlikely that a stereo version would be able to be made now anyway!
