I have just watched "The Man with the Golden Voice"on BBC 4 and thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Thank you to all who took part - especially the STAR.

Yes, a very welcome programme, "The Man With The Golden Voice."
Specially great for Matts family, and nice for us fans too, A combination of Matt's superb singing and his obvious sense of humour, certainly stirred the emotions.

I watched the BBC4 Programme last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was also surprised on the amount of footage of tv appearances there was. Wouldn't it be great if the complete performances ( which we saw clips of ) were put onto dvd? What a treat that would be!
Full marks to all concerned in making this documentary. I am waiting for the repeat so I can record it. Once again thank you!

I think some of the Australian footage IS available on DVD-recently released?

My husband said he came across Matt's programme again last night when flicking through Sky channels. Surely it wasn't repeated so soon.

Yes that's correct Marian, "The Man With The Golden Voice" was repeated on the same channel BBC4 in the early hours on Monday Morning at 1. 50 am.
We taped it having missed taping it the first time.
We understand that it's going to be repeated on another channel possibly BBC 2 some time leading up to Christmas.

I have just ordered the dvd "Portrait of" and can't wait to watch it.

Thanks to Marian, I have had the opportunity to watch the BBC documentary. Max Monro has the looks to be a star in future. Can he sing Michele?

He is a bit of a chip of the old block, seems it only runs on the male side of the family!!
