Lena's had her op.

Hello everyone. This is just to let you know that Lena had her hip operation today and all went well.
I have just spoken to Harry and she is still in recovery at the moment, but he hopes to visit her this evening when she has been moved to a ward.
I know she will be pleased to know we are all thinking of her and wishing her a speedy recovery.
Harry said we will be seeing her on Strictly next year!!

That is wonderful news Marian, we have been thinking of her all day. I was debating whether to ring Harry but I will leave it a day or two. Thanks for telling us.

I'm sure Harry will be very pleased to hear from you John. Maybe tomorrow would be best when he has seen Lena and will have more info on how she is.
She was fourth on the list so had a long wait to go to theatre, especially with nothing to eat from midnight last night.

Lena seems to have had a long wait for this op. Hope she will be up and about soon--I have had many friends who have had this op, and it is amazing how quickly they are up and about.

I spoke to Harry this morning and Lena is doing fine, I sent all our love to her.

A quick update on Lena. She has been out of bed on her crutches, and hopes to make it home on Monday, all being well.
( In Harry's cab, not on her crutches!)
