I first want to say how nice it is to be home after my hip- op, but most of all to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for all your kind and caring messages on the forum here, for Marian and Johns many enquiring phone calls to Harry during and after the op, and the beautiful cards and flowers received.
I have been overwhelmed by your thoughtful and ecouraging words.. I love and appreciate being on this forum with all you great people. You are the very best. !!!
Although feeling somewhat tired at this time, things can only get better.

Thank you all again for you kind comments. I am having good days and some not so good days at the moment, but feeling mainly tired and lacking motivation, but i'm getting there. Well actually i'm revelling in being looked after and being spoiled. I've got the perfect carer,

I felt just the same Lena. Enjoy being looked after (it won't last! ha ha)
I got Peter to buy me some Guinness that helped a little, and then I bought a tonic called Floradix that really boosted me up again. Its quite expensive though and the chemist had to order it. It was recommended to me by a couple of people.
It takes time to get motivated though I found, but as you say, you're getting there, and its still early days.

Nice to hear from you Lena. Pleased Harry is looking after you.

As soon as you start feeling better, you will begin to feel motivated.
It has not been that long since your op--it all takes time.

Just enjoy being pampered-I'm sure Harry is doing a great job.
