In Memory of Mum
My gorgeous son and his girlfriend Justine are doing something very special to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research in memory of my mum, Mickie. If you could help but giving a few pennies that would be wonderful. I know money is tight for everyone and I would not normally ask but this is something very special to me and am very proud of my son for coming up with the idea and designing the information page.

Re: In Memory of Mum
I am sure that Max and Justine will do really well, and I know Mickie would be so proud of them.
I have just been through the process of donating, and it is all very straightforward and quick.
I am also sure that together, we can help them reach their target.

Re: In Memory of Mum
One of our most cherished regulars, Marian Doyle has come up with a super idea. At the last Fans Reunited meet some four years ago we gave away a very special CD called 'Music About Town'. It was really a thank you to all the loyal fans that have supported the website and dad's music over the years. Since then I have been inundated with people begging for copies. The only time we made an extra available was when we did the on-line auction. There were only ever 50 printed and they are all numbered.
It is an extremely rare disc which features The Steve Race Quintet and a certain Matt Monro singing 'In Time', 'The Clouds Will Soon Roll By', "What Makes the Sunset' and 'In the Small Wee Hours of the Morning' with Rae Diamond. We are going to raffle one (number 46) disc with all the proceeds going to the Macmillan Cancer Society on behalf of Max and Justine's run in memory of my mum. This gives everyone a fair chance of being able to add this disc to their collection.

Please be aware that if you win this disc, because the programme is heavily copyrighted, the winner will have to sign a non-disclosure form which will prohibit them from copying or selling the item on. Failure to comply will result in prosecution.
Tickets will be £10.00 each and the raffle will be drawn by one of the members at the Fans Reunited meeting on Wednesday 14th September. If you wish to take part then send a Paypal payment to me with your name on it. You will not be allocated a number but a ticket with your name, which will go into a hat.
Good luck and thanks again to Marian, it is a great idea and will help us boost the funds for this really worthy charity.

Marian will be thrilled she's come up with a great idea that you're acting on Michele - however I thought you were going to say you were having more copies pressed for us poor unfortunates!!!!

Re: In Memory of Mum
Well done Marian, a great idea!! Hope it raises lots more money!
