A rare missive from THE WIGHT ISLES..

We went see our local lad one talented Mr Craig Douglas in his 50th anniversary show last evening, Craig spoke on stage of his great pal Mr Matt Monro and sung Joanna saying Mr Monro's version is one of his all time favourite songs, and yes MrMMjnr got a mention , he is a guest on John Hannans show on Sunday 28th Oct on ISLE OF WIGHT RADIO and we look forward to seeing MrMMjnr at Southsea on the 31st Oct.... finally a big hello to the lovely Len & Freda with thanks for intoducing us to THE MONRO MAGIC...........Anne & David ISLE OF WIGHT

Thankyou Anne and David for the information. It's been many years since I heard anything of Craig Douglas. Nice to hear he's still performing, and mentioned Matt and Matt Jnr.
Matt Jnr has been on John Hannan's programme on Isle of Wight Radio before. I expect this will be a new interview and look forward to it.
It was very nice to meet you at The Beck, and as we are also going to be at The Kings Theatre in Southsea next Wednesday to see Matt Jnr, hope to see you there.

Hi Anne and David, thanks for the info on the interview. We will listen in.
We certainly remember Craig Douglas, and he was guest on Eric Hall's show recently.
We remember his songs "Only Sixteen", "A Teenager In Love ," and When "My Little Girl Is Smiling."
