While out Taxi-ing this afternoon (Sun. 28/10/07) I was listening to Dale Winton's show. The first chart was from october 1964 Mat was heading up the charts to no. 4 it was lovely,as I didn't have a passenger at the time I had turned the radio way up, it came to the end far too quickly.

Did anyone hear Matt on the Desmond Carrington show last night?
It was good to hear "My kind of girl".
Afterwards, Desmond gave Matt a nice mention.

Yes, we heard it Hilary. Desmond said that "My Kind Of Girl, is sung by his kind of singer, that was Matt's second chart hit in 1961, and he went on to be one of the best singing stars of the Twentieth Century. HERE HERE.!!!!
