December News

Post by hpooch » Sun Dec 02, 2012 5:04 am

Michele & Richard, May I be the First to Wish You Both a Merry Christmas & a Healthy Happy New Year!
I just read your December Newsletter and as usual it was full of great narrative about your travels in 2012.
It blows my mind how anyone could keep up with your busy schedule as you are really remarkable.
I viewed the "You Tube" interview that you attached to the news and you handled it beautifully.
I still regret not meeting you when you visited San Francisco last May, but I was on a Russia River Cruise
at that time, and since then my mother passed away peacefully last week at the age of 102.
I hope the EMI/Capitol/Universal deals will be resolved and more of Matt's recording will appear for us to enjoy!
I will wait to hear when your next "Fans Reunion" meeting will occur & I could join you on the cruise.....

Thank you very much for the latest December News Michele. Have to say that the first passages rang very true with us but at our age now we don't have the time left to even care
We have to say again how you amaze us with all that you have done and are still doing to promote your lovely Dad and his music. How proud he must be if he is looking down now and seeing the love and determination that has inspired you to keep his memory and his music alive.
We have enjoyed reading another wonderful story of your cruises ship adventures, and then felt quite emotional to read of how Max proposed to Justine. That's lovely to hear. We send them both our congratulations and best wishes.
We will keep our fingers crossed that in spite of the changes, the web-site will manage to continue, but thank you again for a great newsletter.
We wish you, Matt Jnr, Max and Justine and Richard a very Happy Christmas and peaceful and prosperous New Year for 2013.

Just read Michele's newspage--wow, I was exhausted just reading about it all. What a great year [most of the time] for Michele.

Congratulations to Max and Justine on their engagement-I suspect this was the best news that Michele had this year !!

Many thanks for your kind messages about my mother's passing, but she left us without pain and during her nap.
She had pneumonia & returned from the hospital 2 days before, but she died peacefully at the home she lived in
for 73 years and where she raised me. She was given the last rites by her parish priest that morning for which
we were grateful, & she will join my dad in heaven who left us 12 years ago.
But this thread is for comments about Michele's informative news about her busy year, so let us return to this topic.

Another great Newsletter for us to read. Congratulations to Max & Justine on their engagement, we wish them lots of good luck in the future.

Just when you thought you might be able to catch your breath Michele, you are going to be as busy as ever in 2013. You are going to have lots to do on your upcoming cruises but hopefully you will be able to enjoy some rest and relaxation during your trips.

Wishing you, Richard, Matt Jnr, Max & Justine a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

:D :D :D

The Spotlight feature on Jim Reeves was a very interesting read (Jim and Matt maybe met each other in 1963) :) .............but as we know, Jim's story had such a sad ending :(
