Matt Monro Forum

Hello everyone,

We would like to introduce ourselves to you all. We are Maureen & Harry and have been Matt Monro fans since the early 60's.

We were very fortunate to see Matt in our local Cabaret Nightclubs on numerous occasions and had the very great pleasure of meeting him.

We have been going to join the forum for quite some time and at long last we are now able to do so. We are looking forward to joining you on a regular basis.

We have been giving the new CD Matt Monro Sings quite a few plays and have enjoyed every minute of it - a really great album. On Blue & Sentimental it clearly demonstrates the obvious talent Matt had when these songs were recorded. Live in Australia is great and if anyone hasn't yet got the DVD of this, we can honestly say it is a must have.

We could go on and on about our beloved Matt as we go back such a long way as devoted fans.

P.S. We have now become big fans of Matt Jnr after seeing him several times in concert.

As a newish recruit myself I can vouch for the agreeableness
of the crew - a great bunch, warm and likable as the
eponymous man himself. We are blessed with a very
tolerant flight director and a helpful administrator. Also
we have a number of illustrious partnerships among the
personnel so you will feel right at home. I know you will
enjoy your membership of this high-flying Forum.

As we said when we introduced ourselves we have been fans of Matt for over 40 years. We have quite a few anecdotes that we would love to share with you and we will do so when we return from holiday so please watch this space.
