September News
Re: September News
Hi Christine no not had Spotlight for a while. A few months ago something came up saying 'No flash player plug in detected' then flash 6 browser plug in and on. We didn't know whether to carry on with the instructions or not?
Anyone any advise please?

I get the same message too Sandra. I wasn't sure what to do about it either. We did used to have a flash player installed years ago, but it seems to have disappeared.

Yes Sandra and John we got it back the flash player for a while saying you could use it once and then it disappeared again,I used it a few times and then nothing.
Re: September News
Flash is perfectly safe to use. - To be honest the whole site is out of date technically but at the moment we don't have the time or money to get it updated - unless any of you know anyone who can build websites cheaply!
No news this month as we are waiting on so many things at the moment, and with Michele stuck at home, there isn't much to say. Hopefully back to normal next month.

Re: September News
Thanks for the update Richard. Good to know that you and Michele are both ok.
Re: September News
I think this is the only website I know that you need Adobe Flash player to access information ............you usually only need the Flash player to gain access to photographs and other images that appear on certain pages of information

Yes thank you Richard for letting us know and glad you are both ok.
Re: September News
It's down to how the site was designed way back in around 2005 by a guy called Murph. It needs a complete re-build, but that is very expensive. I could do it, but will take months and I don't have the time. Someone did offer to do it but when i got back to them suddenly it was How much budget have you got! Its a source of frustration for Michele and I. If anyone happens to know anyone who might be able to tackle it, do let me know!
Re: September News
What about asking Murph if he can help re-design the site ..............as a favour or maybe on the cheap

Re: September News
We're not in contact with Murph anymore. Haven't been for more than 10 years. - He runs a business anyway. It's not going to be cheap!

Re: September News
Thanks Michele for the updates and sorry to hear that things are still moving slowly but at least the projects are still ongoing.
Also hope you have been able to get your canisters returned to you.
