Forum Update

Post by Administrator » Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:25 pm

You will notice that we've had an update which has meant changing the style a little bit. Hopefully other than the look very little should have changed.

Please post here if there are any problems.

I like it...….everything is ok apart from the size of the page, quite a bit smaller now...…..I know we can maximise the page ourself but that would make all our other pages much larger...…..so could do to make it a bit bigger (length wise) :)

Ill look into the size and see what can be done.

Its actually the same green tbe site has always been since 2005. Style is closer to how the site looked when it started.

Old style was no longer compatable or supported.

If you don't like the style ypu can change it to another in the user control panel. The alternative is the defalt phpbb style called prosilver.

Goes to show you cant please everyone!

It now fills the screen Richard...….but now the look of the pages and writing look too big ……...definitely don't need specs to see the writing ……….but it is better than before  :)

We have to admit it was a bit of a shock at first but now we think it's just fine. ☺

I like the change -- very easy to read on my BlackBerry. It reminds me of the style of the original forum when we all posted so often. I think we had more free time back then.

That's why I chose this theme, as it was so similar to the original style.

This is a more 'responsive' site so it should be better on tablets and mobiles than the old one.
