Yes, I did at first as well Marian. Click on the little bit of writing underneath which says "spolight on" and it should bring it up.

Thanks Marian--got it that time.
And thanks to Sandra for another fascinating interview--I think these interviews are a great addition to the Foum--everyone has a different tale to tell.

I enjoyed reading your interesting writeup Sandra. It's funny as I've been listening this week to disc 2 of The Rare Monro and enjoying those swing numbers. I prefer Matt Monro singing ballads and mid tempo songs, but I still say that he could swing a song like the best.

I think his Let Me Sing and I'm Happy and Around The World are two of the greatest swing performances ever.

Thanks Paul.
Yes my first love will always be the ballads, but sometimes you just need to listen to a bit of 'swing'.
Can't wait to hear him singing with the Ted Heath Orchestra on Matt at the BBC.

Thanks as well Lena and Harry.
Going to see a completely different concert tonight-Halfway To Paradise-The Billy Fury Story.
Colin Gold won 'Stars In Your Eyes' many years ago,he does a great performance as Billy.

Sounds as though it will be a great night Sandra. Another singer who sadly died at such a young age.
Since last year we starded having "The Beat" magazine delivered and are surprised at how many singers and groups from that era are still going strong.
All the gigs and dates are there, and from readers letters they are providing great entertainment
Enjoy your evening Sandra.
