Did anyone else hear the recording of Matt singing Born Free on Countrywise on ITV 1 tonight,
Len used to have it as a ringtone on his mobile, so at first I thought it was his phone ringing.

We dont watch Countrywise Freda, but we were watching RISING DAMP last night on ITV 3 and Richard Beckinsale) Alan takes out a Matt Monro LP .. and tells Philip ( Don Warrington )that this is the answer , Matt Monro, this iwill be the ideal way of Rigsby ( Leonard Rossiter ) wooing Miss Jones( Frances De Latour)
They are together on the couch and Rigsby starts the record but it's on the wrong speed, but it works for Alan and they are snogging to Matt's " SOFTLY AS I LEAVE YOU."

........................I sometimes watch On the Buses on ITV 3 just before Rising Damp.
