Pebble Mill + Tom Cruise

Post by ROBERT M. » Tue Apr 18, 2006 3:16 pm

Hi everyone. I have two questions to ask.
Firstly - who remembers Matt on Pebble Mill at One during the 70's. I remember Matt used to be on now and again (but I was quite young then and didnt take much notice of the guest singers they had on the programme, as I preferred to listen to pop music in those days). But I do remember the names of the programmes presenters Bob Langley, the late Scot Donny Macleod who I liked very much, with his friendly manner, David Seymour and Marian Davies (not obviously the 30's film star). I also remember one guest singer particularly that used to appear on the show regularly Jack Jones.
So does anyone remember seeing Matt on Pebble Mill at One in the 70's, it would be interesting if anyone can remember, what songs he performed on the programme or if he was interviewed at all and what he had to say or how many times he appeared on the show or anything else anyone can remember.

Secondly - I have just found out what Tom Cruise is going to eat straight after the birth of his child. What does anyone else think of that idea of his. Is Tom Cruise more Wacko than Jacko these days.??

My tears will fall now that your gone :(

I TOO REMEMBER PEBBLE MILL VERY WELL, EVEN THOUGH I WAS ONLY A YOUNGSTER MYSELF, I CERTAINLY REMEMBER DON MC CLOUD. I THINK MATT GUESTED A FEW TIMES, THE LAST TIME TOWARDS THE END OF 1984, I BELIEVE, HAVE A LOOK AT THE TV APPEARANCES ON THE WEB PAGE AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHEN HE WAS ON IT. I AGREE, IT WAS A GREAT PROGRAMME.

Thanks for you reply John. I have checked the web page with Matts TV appearances. I didnt realise he was on Pebble Mill as often as he was. Pebble Mill at One was the forerunner to todays magazine type programmes, and probably one of the best.
