Hi there
Pegasus have just issued a CD called The Impossible Dream (PEGCD554) the tracks appear to have been recorded in the mid sixties 64/65 at a guess but have been licenced from Freewings Ltd, does anyone know of their origins?
Regards
Richard

Richard:
Hi!
I can't really answer your actual question but this 'new' cd is really just a re-packaging of the 1994 cd called Matt Monro - Hollywood and Broadway. Most of the songs were recorded in 1968.

Thanks lee
If this is the case then Pegasus will be in breach of EMI copyright

This recently released CD "The Impossible Dream" is a breach of copyright and we have legally stopped the sale of this item. EMI's legal department are dealing with this on our behalf.

Thanks for giving us that information Michele!
As far as I can see this cd is just a re-packaged rip-off masquerading as a brand new cd. It has the first 11 tracks of the Hollywood and Broadway cd I previously mentioned and not the other 9. I assume that they couldn't get the other 9 or just chose not to include them. Whatever, it does the loyal fans a disservice and I'm pleased to see EMI taking action

.
best wishes,
