Matt Monro Appreciation Society in Australia

Hi to front runners on the forum, Lena & Harry, Mariana 44, Robert M, Paul jh & to so many other wonderful & well informed members of our growing family. Greetings from Aussieland.
I would like to make a public "Thank you" on behalf of Chris & myself, to the kind words from Michele in the August "NEWS".
Making the decision to launch a satellite Matt Monro Appreciation Society downunder, was really easy for us. I stumbled accross the web site accidentally some time ago. What a joyful find after so many years of being starved of any news, following Matt,s untimely passing. I've lost count of the number of publishers I contacted for some kind of biography. I couldn't believe that the memory of such a great voice, could simply disappear. But there was more to Matt , than just the voice & the proffessional technique. Wherever you mention his name, within or outside of the musical industry, the reaction is the same. A great singer, but even more, a "regular guy!'
Chris knows that better than I. We both hope that in a small way our continued efforts will help support Michele [Miss dynamo] to achieve her dreams for her dad's musical legacy to reach even greater heights. Keep listening. Cyril & Chris
