Hi Everyone,

Richard Allinson presents a music and chat show each and every Sunday morning on BBC Radio Oxford.
Like Steve Wright on Radio 2, Richard does like to read out the latest surveys on his show!

How about this one then - research has just been carried out into the behaviour/habits of listeners to certain types of music.
Apparently listeners of heavy metal/rap/dance music/hip hop are more likely to try drugs because the music encourages them to try different substances! (what a surprise!!) :o

There was no mention of easy listening music fans so I guess that this must mean that we are ok! I will certainly be drinking to that one!

Hi Hilary, well who would have thought that, and easy listeners didn't get a mention. Too dreadful to reveal we suspect. Well here's our secret, we're on a drug it's called tea, and we won't
let on what's in our larder for fear of being called tossers.

I don't know. the language coming from our two senior citizens in London is astonishing, must be drinking too much of that drug they drink

Hilary i'm surprised at you. Turning to the dreaded alcohol ?? you're on your way to "heavy metal and rap music" by the sound of things
