this site appears to have been infected by rogue websites which, judging from the titles of the links, appear to contain offensive material. Please arrange for these to be deleted so that we can continue to enjoy discussing Matt's music. Many thanks.

I saw that too Jo, very annoying - have emailed Murph. In the meantime users may want to avoid any threads with 'terted1' as the recent author

Many thanks to Michele who does a great job in removing them.

They're back again - - obviuosly not done their market research very well. Do we look the sort of audience for porn links   Just avoid the threads with 'edster' in them and hopefully Murph will sort it out soon

At least we are all agreed 100%--we categorically do not want this kind of thing on our site.

Really disappointed to see that yet more offensive websites have been added to this site overnight and under a different name from before. Is there a way of blocking this sort of stuff before it gets on here?

This kind of material isn't wanted on here, but apart from us all on the forum trying our best to making that absolutely clear to these sad thick morons,... particularly for those of them who can perhaps read just a little, Michele has already explained that there is very little that can be done to prevent them posting.
Thankfully Murph and Michele are quick to respond to remove it.

My only suggestion is that before a person can become a member of the forum, they have to fill out an application and answer a few questions about Matt Monro---to see if they are legitimate fans. They can be easy questions like (Matt Monro's birthplace country; applicant's favourite Matt Monro song; one of Matt Monro's record labels; his biggest hit in the UK; the proper spelling of Monro; etc.).

Please be very wary of the links that this joker provides. I didn't even click on it (as if I would  ) and it had already put a virus on my computer which then started shutting down on its own accord. Luckily I have a resident and excellent anti virus programme whch cleaned it all up, but please be aware and vigilant.
