Hi Michele
You are not the only one to have trouble exiting from the train, last August I went to London to see friends and on the return journey, the train stopped at the station where I wanted to get off and I had the same problem as you but unfortunately I ended up in the the minor injuries unit at the local hospital as my case caught my leg as I was panic king and peeled about two inches of skin off. Have not been on a train since.
We lost another fan last week, my good friend Dave from the Isle of Wight, it was very sudden.

So sorry to hear the sad news about David from the Isle of Wight Freda. I'm assuming this is Anne's David. We met them at the first MM get together at The Beck. A lovely friendly couple and great Matt fans.
We are so sorry and send our sincere condolences to Anne.
Marian and Peter.

Hi Marion Yes it is David of Ann and David, he was such a lovely person and very supportive when Len died, he phoned me three times a week to see if I was alright right up to three weeks before he died, he will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to Ann

Freda, we are so sorry to hear about David, and our thoughts go out to Anne at this sad time.
It was so nice meeting them both at the fan-club meet, and you will obviously miss him as a good friend.
Hope you have got over your nasty experience on the train.
Our best wishes to you and keep well Freda.

That is such sad news--I also remember David and Anne from meeting them at the Beck. My thoughts are with Anne at this sad time.
Also hope you are recovering from your nasty experience Freda--it knocks your confidence when something like that happens.

I am so sad to hear about the loss of David. Having met him at one of our 'Fans Reunited' events it is hard to realise that I won't see him again. My deepest sympathy to Anne at this very difficult time. I know words are so insignificant at a time like this but I hope you know we are all thinking of you.
