Joe Longthorne!

For some unknown reason Joe and Matt seem to go together with lots of people on this Forum! So I'm sure you already realise that Mr Longthorne will be at the Blackpool Grand Theatre from the 12 to the 29 September.

Hi Bill, the thing that Matt and Joe both have in common is, they were both gifted with tremendous natural talent. That's one area where we in the UK have always been able to compete with any other country when it comes to vocalists. .

I know exactly what you mean! During my Dean Martin tribute, I always announce my one song dedication to Joe Longthorne - I then sing 'Just Loving You' It's the same with Matt. I always sing (and I'll be singing them this week/end in the Swansea area at a Private Party) 'Portrait of My Love; 'Born Free' and at least 'Walk Away' or another emotional Matt song. They go together because they are both very emotional singers and that's why I love singing their songs!
I sincerely hope I meet you both one day!

Hi Bill, we have discussed Joe quite a lot on this forum, and it's an honour and wonderful tribute to both Matt and Joe that you hold them in such regard by singing their songs.
Have a great time in Swansea this weekend (a nice part of the world to be in) and we also hope we can meet one day Bill.
