Michele reminded me to contact Murph in regard to posting a photo, so that you can 'see' who you're talking to! There will be no convict number under the photo - at least Murph has promised!!
Catching up with messages - sang in Swansea last night and added Portrait of My Love.

I'd forgotten I'd tried uploading photos somewhere on the site, and hadn't realised they'd been printed! Silly Irish me! I forgot to tell you that I was born in Ireland, now live in Wales but lived in Deal, Kent for many years! I could also tell you that I am the original wooden-baby - my father was a Pole, but that's untrue! My Private Party Swansea show went well on Saturday evening - lots of 'Dino' songs, a Joe Longthorne, a Mathis, a Norman Wisdom and of course PORTRAIT OF MY LOVE!
Hope Lena and Harry are fit and well?

It was The Twelfth of Never - lovely words. Some weeks ago I purchased in ASDA a dvd of a show of his recorded about 20 years ago. It was only £4.97 but the show is fantastic and of course he sings all of his best songs including Too Young where he simply sits on a stool, with Gil, his guitarist, and the end product is something every aspiring 'crooner' should look at and digest - brilliant!
Nice to be in contact with you, Mariana.

Hi Bill, we are both fine thank you and glad that your Private Party Show went well.
Nice to see from the photo gallery that the fine suit, bow tie dress shirt and cufflinks are very much in evidence.
All the great vocalists were immaculately turned out. It was regimental and expected.
Norman Wisdom appeared on a TV programme last night showing his house on the Isle Of Man. What a wonderful character he is.
So we assume his song was "Don't Laugh At Me Cause I'm A Fool "
Just like Matt's "Portrait Of My Love" this song was Synonymous with Norman, although he made quite a few recordings.
:) :) :)

Thanks Lena and Harry.

Yes it was 'Don't Laugh At Me' - another great song which I enjoy singing. Actually when I lived in Deal, Kent we had the Butchers Shop and Norman's Mum and Brother Fred used to buy their meat from me! Joan Regan, Charles Hawtrey and others used my quality meat regularly. I even had the pleasure of serving the Queen Mother, for many years, in her capacity as Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports! (Although she only came to the Walmer Castle once a year!) To round off my 'life story' my username of Billmiler is because in the 60s I ran a mile in 4mins 7secs!!! Thank you for noting my smart attire! I always remember Dean Martin mentioning than no entertainer should ever not be smartly dressed - he could'nt stand certain entertainers who turned up in t-shirt and jeans!
Great talking to you and thanks for the chat.

I assumed Bill that your name meant "miller" But now I obviously know it "miler", as in running the 4 minute 7 second mile. I suppose that will help you, if you come across rowdy audience while singing

Cheer Robert M!

Thanks for your message especially as you are one of the Forum fanatics and one of Matt's great fans! Yes I can still escape but I also have another great tool for a rowdy audience - I lived on Merseyside for nearly 20 years so all the ad-libs are rehearsed!!
I'm off to a Showcase tonight to try and impress a few more Agents!
