Matt Monro Forum

We went to Littlecote House on Friday 20th April for Matt's show on the 21st, as usual enjoyed the show even if it was the fourth time we had seen it,superb ending to the show bought the audience to their feet and tears to the eyes and it wasn't only the women.

The weekend was made more enjoyable by meeting with two fan club members Dave and Anne Holden from the Isle of Wight,who we had never met before,by the end of the three days we were firm friends.

Also managed to buy the recent CD "Matt Monro" original Decca recording in Marlborough, once again a winner.

Young Matt nearly got a clip around the ear when he looked at the photo on the cover and said he looks like Elvis Presley with his hair like that.

Sounds like you had a really enjoyable weekend Len and Freda. Good to hear Matt Jnr's show was appreciated so enthusiastically. All that hard work certainly deserves to be well recognised.
Nice to make new friends too, Matt fans all seem such special people.

With the greatest of thanks to the lovely Len & Freda we met with and enjoyed the company and performance of Mr MMjnr at Littlecote House.

We look forward to his new CD later this year , the track he sang at Littlecote was a winner and if the rest of the CD is of that standard then its going to be a top seller..

Following Lens advice we have just got the Mr Monro snr CD of Decca unreleased tracks , It is just totally superb , thanks Len. regards Anne & David
