Songbook

This area is divided into an English and Spanish Songbook

Have you ever been here?
Have you printed off any lyrics?
Do you sing along to the records?

Yes I have been there, haven't printed any lyrics, and although I used to sing in a band in my younger days, your Dad's pitch is too high for me, but I still enjoy listening.

Hi Michele--I often go to the lyrics, and yes I have printed some off. I do my best at singing along, but just as well that only my dogs are there to hear me.  Marian

1. I have never been here. At least not until today. I didn't even know this was on the website.

2. I haven't printed out the lyrics, but this is a great resource for song lyrics. I like that the songwriters are listed.

3. I sing along to the Matt Monro records all the time. The lyrics will be helpful to sing along with the Spanish recordings.

Sorry, the previous message was from me. I hadn't registered this afternoon and was browsing the messages and sent this one. I thought the policy was that guests couldn't send messages. Has that changed?

The Songbook section is an invaluable resource, but could be expanded upon to cross reference to the LPs/Singles/CDs where the original Matt versions appeared, if that would be possible.

Hi Michelle

Just to echo Martys point, it would be great if the 'Songbook' can refer you to the album you need to buy to hear Matt sing the selected song.

Hopefully a new section will be added next month - every song will be listed with the most current CD or album it was last released on.

It depends how fast I type the next few weeks

Hi Michele--that would be brilliant---we all appreciate how much extra work that would be for you---but an enormous help to all of us.

Thanks--
Marian
