Dunfermline

Hi all, well what a night, we finally managed to find our way out of Glasgow's legendary one way system, thanks to my new navigator? It's lovely to know that Scottish road designers have a sense of humour! We arrived in Dunfermline at about 4.30pm to find a wonderful original unmolested concert hall built in the 1930's by Andrew Carnegie. The weather up here is described by the locals as "bracing", personally I find it bloody freezing.

The show kicked off at 7.30pm to an audience of near capacity with a wonderful opening set performed by Zak which contained a lively mix of fun, frolicks and good good music which left them screaming for more. Then came the main event, yet again another spotless performance from the son of the Legend, I managed to catch quite a few numbers this time round and the audience absolutely loved "Softly as I Leave You", which resulted in a large sustained burst of applause. But the song that blows the audience into pieces is "Change the World", the audience were mesmerised.

Matt, as he always does, came out to the foyer after the show to be greeted by about 150 people eagerly waiting for a chance to meet him and share their memories. On a personal note my highlight of the day was having breakfast with Mr Colin Keyes and Mr Matt Monro Jr, it was pure heaven. I'm loving this whole experience.

Well another day, another show, must go and prepare, will log in again tomorrow with another on the spot report.
Bye for now Paul

Hi Paul--how you find the time to get your reports to us just beats me--but I'm glad you do---it is making Matt's tour come alive.

And we now only have 2 weeks to go before our Fan Club Meet.

Paul [from USA]--if you read this-hope the weather stays like this for another 2 weeks--it is just beautiful--a lovely true British Autumn-I'm sure you would love it.

Thanks for the weather report Marian. I'm hoping for highs in the mid-40s and lows in the mid-30s---with no rain. There's nothing quite like walking the London streets on brisk clear days.

Don't worry Paul, even if it does rain, we can all sing "Singing in the Rain" together after the show.....

I'm sure we could handle renditions of "Rain Sometimes" or "Snowfall". But I prefer to be positive, so let's sing "On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever)" and "On A Wonderful Day Like Today", because it will be a wonderful day! :D

So how about this one. "This Is A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening"
