We believe you Mark, about your voice being affected if you pack up smoking. Sudden nicotine withdrawal symptoms. :wink: :wink: :wink:
Harry's going to be affected too on the 1st of July. At least he hasn't got to ask all his passengers if they object to his smoking when they get into his cab now. :roll: :roll: :lol:
Sometimes it not a bad idea to "Let The Train Take The Strain" Mark, but at least there's adequate parking at the Beck. :lol: :lol:

Jules and I have today (27th June) booked in at the Premier Travel Inn at Hayes for this event on Oct 2nd.....so we are now confirmed to be attending the meet and Matt jr concert :D :D

I have my reservation booked at the Premier for Monday 1st and 2nd.

Relax on the Monday after the long drive, and then the Fish/Chip supper

(he-he-he) !

See you outside in the intervals, Harry & Mark, not quite cracked the

:?: :shock: Is there a smoking ban in taxis now? Did the restaurant, pub, and bar ban start on the 1st of July?

Back to Fans Reunited II: it seems to be a good turnout! That is very exciting! :D I hope many of the others from last year can attend as well as all the new folks.

The smoking ban started on July 1st in all public enclosed places-I do not know if that includes taxis--but possibly.

I think it does include taxis, and all vehicles connected with work. I'm sure Lena and Harry can tell us. :D :D

Yes that's correct, and as far as we understand this non-smoking ban even applies at bus shelters. :roll: :roll:

There is a BIG discussion going on with a Landlord of a PUB in Bolton

he is allowing his customers to still smoke, and he wants to appear in

Court to totally put his objections in re the ban ? Have to watch the

TV and Papers for the outcome.

I bet Harry has been in a foul mood with his taxi customers today :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: watching the news earlier, I saw (in the background) about half a dozen taxis leaving Heathrow. I'm sure I spotted the pesky OAP driving one of them :wink: :lol:
