Hi Everyone,

What a GREAT time you all had. Many thanks to everyone for their lovely posts. Those of us that couldn't attend the evening felt that we were there in spirit because the posts here have been so informative.

Michele and her team worked VERY hard and it good to see that EVERYONE who went along, enjoyed themselves and will remember this evening for a long time!

Looking forward to seeing the photos soon on the site.
Lena and Harry - I'm pleased that you both had a great time and well done for getting your certificate for the most posts on Matt's forum.

Hi Folks

Reading all the comments from the Fans that attended, it sounds like you all had a fabulous time. Really upset that we had to miss it due to Len being ill on the day and him being the only driver, wasn't well enough to tackle a three hour journey, mostly the M25.

We were choked today when receiving an e-mail from Michel saying that she had entered us into the free draw and also had given the goody bag to Paul to bring to us when we attend the concert at Clacton on Sea on Friday night (fingers crossed). It had been booked since early in the New Year 2006.

Will definitely attend the next one, even if Freda has to carry me there.

Having joined the fanclub and been a fan of Matt for many years, was closely associated with him when he was in hospital, so pleasing to know that there are so many fans out there, and we must all spread the word.

Lets hope we can all meet next year in the summer if poss. Would have really loved to have met all Matt's family, especially Mickie and Michele

We were all sorry that you could not be there---Michele made an announcement to us all to let us know you were unable to be there. You would have loved it, but hopefully between us you would have a good picture of all that went on.

I just cannot stop saying what a wonderful day we had--and we are all hoping there will be another one next year.

Hi Len and Freda, we have sent an e-mail to you but don't worry about the posting.
We were so sorry that you weren't able to make the fan club meet and we know how disappointed you are feeling now, but you were remembered and spoken of with a great deal of affection by Michele.
We hope you are feeling better now and will be able to get to see the wonderful concert with Matt Jnr at Clacton on Friday, and perhaps and hopefully for all of us there will be a next time and we can meet you both then.

Wow! what can I say, what a memorable evening, It was so good to see you all, Well done Michele for all of your hard work, and although you said you were nervous it didn't show at all, the evening was a huge success, I think everyone will agree, it was such a privilage to meet, yourself and your mum (such a lovely lady) and of course your son, not to mention Matt Junior, who we thoroughly enjoy, it was the third time we had seen him, and are about to see him for a fourth time when he comes to our home town in Derbyshire,(can't wait). We were the proud winners of the Artwork for the `Rare Monro`cuttings on Monday evening, it travelled all the way back to Derbyshire wrapped in a blanket for protection. we were so thrilled to have won it and will treasure it always. (preparing to hang it where everyone that visits us will see it). Once again thank you so much for a wonderful evening. much love to your family, and to everyone that was there on this most memorable evening.

Hello again Everyone !

WELL DONE MICHELE

After my long journey to The Beck Theatre, it was such a pleasure to listen to the wonderful voice of Matt (Jnr)..
It was also delightful to meet Mrs. Monro & Family, plus everyone else connected to the Fan-Club, who also made everything worthwhile.
Last, but not least, all the Fan-Club members, wasn't it nice to chat, and to get to know one-another Hope you all had a safe journey home, and hope to meet you all again.
All-in-all, it was such an outstanding event....

I will try to be brief, as I'm a little jet-lagged and have a busy Thanksgiving of music tomorrow (as some of you know)!

On my flight home I kept thinking of how am I going to describe the 20th of November to my co-workers, friends, and family. All the adjectives that came to mind didn't do it justice. Finally something came to me: "one of the best days of my life".

Thanks so much to Michele, Matt Jnr, Mrs Monro, Max, and all of my fellow fans of the world's greatest singer for making this such a special event.
