Sentimental Strings CD in Goodie Bag

It's taken me four years, but I'm finally getting around to listening to The Sentimental Strings 3 CD set in the goodie bag from the second Fans Reunited. It's very relaxing with interesting arrangements. I've learned some new music. The liner notes include a paragraph for each song. I'm now on the second CD. I've listened to everything but I Write The Songs. Even without the vocal I can't sit through that.

Funnily enough Paul-I have no recollection of having that cd in my goodie bag 4 years ago ! But I guess it must be around somewhere.

I have them Marian, but I thought they were a prize and not in the goodie bag, but I could be wrong.

I am 99% sure i did not have that in my bag, perhaps it was just included in some, and I got something different.

Isn't it obvious? The melody is boring, the lyrics silly,the bridge and key change annoying, and it was overplayed on the radio.

Perhaps it was a consolation prize for coming in second in the trivia games behind John's table team. Hey ... History repeated itself four years later!

I don't think so Paul as we were on John's team then too.
I think Michele gave them out to the 100 club posters, but the top two got something else.
