My son says he thinks prisons are exempt from the smoking ban. So yet again prisoners are better off that the rest of us! Not that I've ever been a smoker.

As far as we know they are still giving serious thoughts to a total smoking ban in prisons.
It depends how many prison officers they have spare.

:D :D

I heard something funny today !..Occasionally, I go to a local Auction,
but I missed it this week. During the evening, The Auctioneer stopped the Auction, so that he, along with viewers, could go outside for a smoke.

A little later, he again stopped the Auction, so that anyone could go outside for another smoke, and he joined them.

Those non-smokers left inside then of course grumbled, why should they sit there and wait for the others to smoke ? I must be there next week to see the fun ....

I shouldn't have thought lighting up would have been allowed during an auction anyway Angela. Just imagine all those valuble antiques going up in smoke!!!!!!!

With the smokers now being forced out of public places like betting shops pubs and restaurants etc and on to the streets causing an increase in air pollution , maybe masks will now be the trendy thing to wear.

Thanks for the responses! Unfortunately, this year is out. I've already been out west to Calgary in June and on September 19th we're off to Austria and Switzerland (totally FREE -with my other-half's company). So considering that I don't like to fly, my arms'll be way too tired for another trip this year. Perhaps next time and we can kill two birds with one stone (so to speak) and attend the do and visit my family in London and Burnley.
Paul.

Hi Mark, nice to see you back and hope you and the family are well settled into your new home, and what nicer place than North Wales to be doing your gigs.
Hope it was all successful for you. We are also looking forward to meeting you at the Fan-Club.
Won't be long now
We haven't heard from Bill for a while so he must be busy with his engagements too which is good. On the other hand he may be out on the road practicing for the London Olympics.
