December Birhdays

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

2nd December. My sister is 53 years old today.. She married on her 18th birthday, so it is also her 35th Wedding Anniversary.

However, it is a very sad day for her and all the family, as her husband died in July, aged 53.

I am so proud of how she has coped over the last few months, not only losing Patrick, but many other problems, including her own health.

My wish is that she has a peaceful day, and to be able to remember Pat without too much pain.

Hope your sister doesn't find today too difficult Marian. From all you have told me she sounds to be a very resilient lady and coping quite well. Hopefully in time, things will get easier for her.

Today would also have been my mum and dad's 68th Wedding Anniversary.

Marian, we also hope your sister copes and gets through this day that sadly should have been a happy double celebration for her.
We have celebrated my Great Nieces 6th Birthday today although her Birthday is next Sunday.
Her baby Sister who was born prematurely and weighed just Three pounds at birth in June, is now the most gorgeous baby we've ever seen and now weighing Twelve pounds Two Ounces. :) :)

Our little step-granddaughter, who came to our family to live from Sri Lanka, following the terrible tsunami on Boxing Day 3 years ago, is 10 today.
Happy birthday Sewwandi.
