special days in October

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

Thank you very much for your kind Birthday wishes, Sandra Karl Robert and Maxine .
Had a lovely day, lots of cards gifts and flowers , but the main celebration is with a dozen members of the family today Sunday. A meal at a Jazz club followed by a Swing band concert.
Hope you had a specially nice Birthday too Maxine. !!

Yes, they are called The Hot Waffle Big Band Sandra, play a mixture of music, plus all the classics.
Must appologise too Sandra. I did reply to your Birthday wishes on Harry's Facebook Time Line along with some others, but somehow they disappeared. So much for my computor wizadry

Thank you Karl.
It seems to be all bad news on here recently, so I find the forum rather depressing at the moment.

Marian, what is the bad news you are talking about .............and if there is any, why should it make you stay away from our great MM forum, as the forum is desperate for the regulars to participate on a regular basis or it may go under without their input ! :(

I agree Robert. There are new threads that hardly anyone joins in. I myself try to think up new things to get people interested, Marian how about you starting a new thread or joining in on the one's we have to keep this forum going? Oh and tell your friends!

All the subjects seem to be about all the celebrities have died recently Robert, or anniversaries of people who have died. Not a lot to say about them really. I realise they have to be remembered, but there doesn't seem to be anything much else. Thank you Karl for trying to lift the mood, but the games don't seem to inspire me anymore. Looks like I'm not the only one either.

Marian there are SO MANY different threads here something must interest you?
As Robert said if NOBODY participates the site will fade and go under, is that what you want? I don't think so.
