special days in August

Christine it's hard enough losing parents or other loved one's. I can't begin to imagine how it feels to lose a child at ANY age.

Please be assured we feel your hurt & pain and may of us have been there on a different level.

I visited the cemetery today as Saturday is my aunt's anniversary and the 16th August would have been my grannies birthday.

My aunt passed away the day after my birthday nine years ago and I swear she held on so as not to let me down.

Having lost three family members within six years Christine I can tell you the hurt does pass but the memories never do.

Just a quick line--my new computer is up and running 2 weeks after I received it, after numerous phone calls to Dell, Microsoft and AOl. So I have now managed to reinstall most things--just a few minor niggles that I hope to sort out soon. i really like Windows 8--none of the problems were due to windows 8.
I have not managed to find the August newspage yet, so if someone could post a link, I would be grateful.

Thank you all, I had a brilliant day after a lousy start. I must have lost my wallet yesterday in M&S. I used some of my M&S vouchers I kept inmy wallet.

I have never lost a wallet in my life and it's been all over the world with me. there wasn't much money in it but pics of mum & dad and my driiving licence and the rest of my M&S vouchers.


I think it fell out my pocket on the way to my car, I am so annoyed at myself as I am very careful with things

Called M&S and no luck but I did go to Sainsburys later so must check with them.

I hope you find it Karl. It's gonna be a major hassle to replace your drivers license, credit cards etc!! I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday besides the crappy start!! Hang in there friend!!

The one good thing is I keep my credit cards in a separate wallet but the licence I have is the original one from my 20's - they now have your picture on.
