December Birhdays

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

On Sewwandi's behalf, many thanks to Auntie Lena and Uncle Harry, Auntie Marian, and Uncle John for your birthday wishes.

JANUARY--BIRTHDAYS ANNIVERSARIES ETC

Post by mariana44 » Tue Jan 01, 2008 12:33 pm

January has always been an awful month for me.

My dad died many years ago, in January.

The following January, my baby, Helen, died at only 2 days old.

Several years later, my mum died in January.

More recently , one of my best friends Carol was diagnosed with a terminal illness in January-and subsequently died.

And in January only 2 years ago, my dear friend and neighbour had a big
major operation, but thankfully she came through it.

So I am always really happy to see the back of January.

What really sad memories Marian, but despite them all, you are still smiling, and you brighten our lives nearly every day. :D
Our grateful thanks for just being you, a really kind and generous friend.

My sister Jill is 54 today--she is always cheerful, even though she has had a lot of problems to contend with , especially over the last cuple of years, and this is her 2nd birthday without her husband Pat, so I know it will be a difficult day for her.

Happy birthday to all December birthdays. I am sure Lena you were very young when you had Alan. Len always tells people he was a child bride

Was that before the operation, or did he mean child groom?

Roll on Thursday, I have already treated myself to a birthday present of 4 new tyres for my car to be fitted on the day itself (bought and paid for over the internet)

Len and Freda, a very young next door neighbour of ours had Four kids when our son was born.  I thought that time was slipping by and felt quite ancient when he was born.

Well, I turned 50 on the 4th this year. My parents invited me to lunch last Sunday (13th) and produced a surprise cake. Don't know who the baker was but they did an amazing job.......
