Special Days in April

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

And I'm even later Terry!

Happy birthday Michelle! I did here the mention on Terry's Breakfast show but not had a chance to get on here since. I hope you had a great day.

Doris Day at 84 - she'll always be about 30 to us all I am sure! Such a lovely lady, whose shunned the showbiz world (quite rightly after all the attention sh and her family got) and has retired and relaxed out of the public gaze.

It was Dad's 75th yesterday so we had got them tickets to go and see the 'Chinese Warriors' in their last hour of their last day at the British Museum. It was lovely to hear Mum and Dad singing along in the back of the car to 'Sentimental Journey' by Doris, 'You've got possibilities' by Matt and 'Thats Amore' by Dean - among many others including Pet Clarke and Neil Sedaka as we headed down the M40

Have a great Birthday when the day arrives Amanda, Jackie and Marc.
The 21st of April is also my Sister-In-Law Barbara's Birthday and of course her Majesty The Queen's.
Good to hear from you Mike, and good music on a journey makes it so much more enjoyable.

I have to say that even part of a laptop beats a pair of socks or a tie

Good to see you back on the Forum Mike.

Hope Marc has a good day---plus Amanda and Jackie--not to mention Lena and Harry's sister in Law , and of course The Queen.

Indeed it does Mariana, and it means I could treat myself to a new lens for my camera without too much guilt

It is 3 years today that my husband George died.

On 12th April Saturday, would have been my mum's birthday.

And next week--on 17th is my sister -in-law Doreen's 75th birthday--and the same day would have been my brother-in-law---Patricks 54th birthday.

So apart from Doreen, April is another bad month for my sisters and me.

We are thinking of you today then Marian, for George, remembering your mum, and remember also the sadness that you and your family were feeling when Patrick passed away, so relatively young.
We hope Doreen has a great 75th Birthday on the 17th.

Sorry it is such a sad time of year for you Marian. You are very much in our thoughts today.
It would have been my mum's birthday too, on the 13th.
Marian.
