special days in August

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

It was a good day, the meal was perfect as was the dessert (all made by moi), you know it's good when your guests want more and they have taken the rest of the dessert home with them.

Today was also the birthday of my late cousin Carol so Happy Birthday Carol, still miss you but remember the laughs we had when you came to stay.

Today is the anniversary of my Aunt Bunty's passing , I always said she held on so as not to let me down on my birthday.

Today was my granny's birthday, one week after mine, she passed away on Easter Sunday morning in 1966 - she was such a lovely person and I still miss her.
